Lao Style
Ingredients:
eggroll shell
filling ingredients:
1 pound ground meat
rice noodles (soak and cut in half to roll easier)
5 carrots
1 whole cabbage
1 onion
dried mushroom (optional)
4 eggs (save one egg yoke on the side for wrapping) Note: too much eggs will cause foaming when frying
1 tablespoon of salt
2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
2 tablespoon oyster sauce
You have two options to cooking the eggroll.
Option 1: Mix filling ingredients. Cook and then roll into eggroll shell. Deep fry eggroll until outside is golden brown.
Option 2: Mix filling ingredients and roll into eggroll shell. Deep fry in 340 degrees oil. Eggroll is done (10 -12 minutes) when shell is golden brown. Make sure meat if fully cooked.
Enjoy with dipping sauce.
