Ju Can't Cook: Kid Friendly Foods

I'm a MBA mom who can't cook and avoids domestic tasks at all cost. I'm great a doing crafts, cutting coupons, and homework but can't cook to satisfy even experimental eaters. After a decade of cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our family of four, my husband hung up his apron in protest. At last to keep the peace (and to set a good example for the kids) I've decided to attempt to learn to cook with help from more experienced cookers. Wish me luck and hope no one ends up at the hospital for a stomach pump.

My family and I emigrated to the United States when I was 2 years old. My father is Chinese and my mother is Thai. I grew up eating a fusion of Chinese - Thai - Lao food at home in Georgia. My American husband lived in Guam for a couple of years and enjoys authentic Filipino food and fresh sushi. I love southern fried chicken, grits, corn bread dressing, and collar greens. My son loves eating everything; it's my daughter who is a "food snob." This blog is a collection of some recipes that I collected from my friends and family in hopes of learning how to replicate some comfort food for my own family. Please send me some of your favorite recipe so I can try them out.
